Accommodations
The cost for room and board while attending the festival is NOT part of the €880 tuition fee to attend the festival. Liesing offers several first-rate quality hotels/pensions where both faculty and festival participants sleep throughout the duration of the festival. Prices vary for each hotel, ranging between 20 and 30 euros per night (breakfast included), meaning that housing accommodations for the festival will total between 200 to 300 euros, depending on which hotel you stay at. Upon acceptance to the festival, we will provide you a list of hotels/pensions from which to select from to make reservations.
The Festival has reserved a series of four-star Gasthofs in Liesing with views overlooking the valley and private baths for each room. Priority for rooms with views will be given on a first come, first served basis. Should these Gasthofs be filled, we cannot guarantee private baths for attendees and guests in other Gasthofs, so we recommend that you book early.
If you would like to bring your family, Ferienwohnungs (vacation apartments) are available, and include private baths and kitchens. Markets for all basic shopping needs are within easy reach. Please contact us for rates, as these apartments vary in price.
Friends and Family
If you wish to bring additional people with you to the festival such as family, we will be happy to work with you on arranging the details of these accommodations. Larger apartments are available for additional people, but at a greater cost.
If you wish to bring children, there are activities available for them to take part in throughout the week. The festival will offer a special class to learn German and children are certainly welcome to join us on excursions that the festival will be taking throughout the week. Liesing also has a pool with a water slide, a playground and plenty of countryside for children to hike in and play.

Below are a few of the hotels in Liesing that participants of AlpenKammerMusik stay at for the duration of the festival. Since AlpenKammerMusik has already made block reservations at all the hotels in Liesing during the festival, please select the hotel that you would prefer to stay at and we will place you into that hotel. Availability for participants is first come, first serve. Hotels cost anywhere between €22 to €30 per night and includes breakfast.
