Welcome to AlpenKammerMusik!

The spectacular setting of the Austrian Alps serves as the backdrop for a festival where you, the amateur chamber musician, will play and perform together with professional musicians from around the world. In addition to playing in an ensemble along side such incredible musicians, you will be coached by additional members of the faculty as well.

AlpenKammerMusik will be accepting applications until May 1.

Tanya BannisterAlpenKammerMusik faculty member Tanya Bannister recently performed in recital at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. on Saturday January 27 in a program of Robert and Clara Schumann, Isaac AlbĂ©niz, Brahms, Australian composer Carl Vine, and AlpenKammerMusik faculty member Suzanne Farrin. And Washington Post music critic Tim Page was on hand to review the concert for Monday’s edition of the Washington Post. Read more

Faculty member Claudia Ajmone-Marsan performs with Sam West on BBC Radio 3

BBC Radio 3Faculty member Claudia Ajmone-Marsan recently performed Stravinsky’s “Histoire du soldat” (Soldiers Tale) on the BBC Radio 3 program “In Tune“. Joining her in the performance were Mathew Hunt on clarinet and Tim Horton on piano, both members of Ensemble 360. The role of the narrator was played by actor Sam West.
