The tuition fee for the AlpenKammerMusik Festival for full participants is €1,000 each , which includes lessons, chamber music coachings, lunch and dinner and access to all Festival concerts, classes, and other events. For auditors, the fee is €500, which includes access to all classes, concerts, and other events as well as lunch and dinner. For guests who do not wish to be observers and not participate in Festival activities, they will need to handle all costs for food and accommodations separately. Upon your acceptance to AlpenKammerMusik, you will be required to wire your remittance to the Festival bank account at Raiffeisenbank in Austria. Unfortunately we cannot accept credit cards, checks or cash at this time. Bank transfer information will be sent to you after your acceptance to AlpenKammerMusik.
Accomodation:
Liesing offers several first-rate quality hotels/pensions where both faculty and festival participants sleep throughout the duration of the festival. Prices vary for each hotel, ranging between 20 and 30 euros per night (breakfast included), meaning that housing accommodations for the festival will total between 200 to 300 euros, depending on which hotel you stay at. Upon acceptance to the festival, we will provide you a list of hotels/pensions from which to select from to make reservations.
The Festival has reserved two complete four-star Gasthofs in Liesing with views overlooking the valley and private baths for each room. Priority for rooms with views will be given on a first come, first served basis. Should these two Gasthofs be filled, we cannot guarantee private baths for attendees and guests in other Gasthofs, so we recommend that you book early.
If you would like to bring your family, Ferienwohnungs (vacation apartments) are available, and include private baths and kitchens. Markets for all basic shopping needs are within easy reach. Please contact us for rates, as these apartments vary in price.
Transportation:
The Festival will arrange round trip transportation to and from Liesing and Venice, Italy for a fee of €100 (round-trip) per person. You will be met outside of International Arrivals, and a bus will leave Venice at 3 PM on July 11 for a 3-4 hour ride to Liesing through the Alps. This bus will also return to Venice on the 21st, leaving Liesing at 8 AM and arriving at Venice Airport by noon at the latest. Should you wish to take advantage of our bus, please ensure that your flight arrives in Venice by 2 PM at the latest, and that your flight on Sunday leaves no earlier than 3 PM.
There are airports closer to Liesing than Venice, including Salzburg, Klagenfurt, and Trieste. Please be advised that should you wish to fly into one of these airports, the Festival cannot arrange transportation for you and recommends that you rent a car. In Italy and Austria, people drive on the right side of the road.

We would leave Liesing mid-morning and return in time for dinner. (Note: additional charge applies if you use transportation arranged by the Festival.)
